FarmApp is designed to streamline and enhance agricultural practices by involving three crucial stakeholders: Aggregators, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and Farmers. Each of these groups plays a unique role within the FarmApp ecosystem.

Farmers

Direct Farmers: These farmers are directly linked to FarmApp without any intermediary organizations. They independently use FarmApp’s tools to map their farms, record crop details, and access satellite data and advisory services.

Indirect Farmers: These farmers are managed either by FPOs or Aggregators, these farmers benefit from the collective resources and support provided by these higher-level entities.

Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)

FPOs: These organizations consist of groups of farmers working together to improve their collective bargaining power and access to resources. FPOs have direct oversight of the farmers within their group, helping them to utilize FarmApp’s features effectively.

FPOs Under Aggregators: FPOs under Aggregators manage their farmers while receiving additional support and coordination from Aggregators, ensuring a cohesive approach to agriculture.

Aggregators

These are key coordinators within the FarmApp ecosystem, overseeing both FPOs and farmers. Aggregators manage a network that includes farmers as well as FPOs, which in turn manage their groups of farmers. This hierarchical structure ensures that resources, support, and information are efficiently distributed across all levels.

The FarmApp Ecosystem

By involving Aggregators, FPOs, and Farmers, FarmApp creates a robust support system that enhances productivity, sustainability, and efficiency in agriculture. This multi-tiered approach ensures that all farmers, whether solo or within groups have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed.
